FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Bryce Reeves (R-Spotsylvania) announced today that former Attorney General candidate Chuck Smith has endorsed his candidacy for Lt. Governor of Virginia.
“While serving in the Marine Corps and in the U.S. Navy as a JAG Commander, I took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. Bryce Reeves has taken that same oath many times,” stated Smith. “He understands that protecting our Constitution is essential to governing and that we must always preserve our God-given rights.”
Chuck Smith has practiced law for more than thirty-six years, focusing on the Constitution, Immigration, and our Military.
“Virginia needs a conservative leader who will fight for us in Richmond. He will deliver commonsense ideas and fight for the everyday Virginian.”
“I’m honored to have Chuck’s endorsement and I could not be more excited to campaign alongside him,” Reeves said. “Chuck is passionate about our Commonwealth and believes in the rule of law. He believes in liberty. He is a true patriot and I am thrilled to have him on Team Reeves.”
Smith added, “I’m happy to endorse Bryce Reeves for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia and I hope everyone will join me in doing so. In my opinion, he is not just an unsung hero for having served his country, but for his community service throughout the Commonwealth.”
