FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Today, Bryce Reeves (R-Spotsylvania) announced that longtime conservative activist, Founder and President of Virginia Women for Trump, Alice Butler-Short, has endorsed his candidacy for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia.
“I am proud to endorse Bryce Reeves for Lt. Governor,” said Alice. "I greatly admire his military and law enforcement experience, and his proven leadership and dedication to our veterans, our country and the Commonwealth. Bryce is a man of faith who will always stand for our liberty and freedom, and whom we can trust to make Virginia great again.”
Like Bryce, Alice has dedicated her life to serving our nation and military. She is an Army Arlington Lady, ensuring that no soldier is buried alone. She has also been awarded the Distinguished Citizen Medal from Daughters of the American Revolution.
"This is huge boost for our campaign. Not only do we have the endorsements from every Republican woman in the Virginia General Assembly—except for my opponent, we now have one of the top conservative women's grassroots leaders on our team,” said Reeves. “Nobody worked as hard as Alice did during the 2016 election. She is loyal, kind, and committed to making our country and our Commonwealth the best place to live,” said Reeves.
Reeves added, “It’s sincerely a blessing to have Alice’s support as she embodies the true meaning of grassroots and community involvement. She brings conservatives from every background together and truly works to ensure Virginia’s future is bright. With 38 days left until the June 13th Primary, I am excited to campaign side-by-side with Alice. One team, one goal!”
