FREDERICKSBURG, VA – December 6, 2021 – Today, Senator Bryce Reeves (R-Spotsylvania) announces a key addition to his campaign team, with the hiring of Jimmy Spinella as his campaign manager. Spinella has long ties in the 7th Congressional District, having worked for Delegate Nick Freitas in his historic write-in victory, as well as his congressional race, and running the district’s political operation for Pete Snyder during this year’s gubernatorial campaign. He most recently managed Delegate Tony Wilt’s successful re-election in Harrisonburg, where Delegate Wilt received the most votes ever.

Spinella said, “I’m absolutely thrilled by the opportunity to help send Senator Reeves to Congress. Of all the candidates in the race he is by far the most qualified person to fight for our values in Washington. From his time as an Army Ranger, a narcotics detective, and now as our State Senator, Bryce has a lifelong commitment to service, and I’m eager to help him as he takes the next step in his service to our community.”

Bryce Reeves stated, “In my years as a football and lacrosse coach, I have seen that a winning team needs every member to play to the top of their ability. Jimmy is one of the most competent political operatives I’ve ever met, and will bring an unparalleled level of professionalism and organization to this campaign. He knows that Abigail Spanberger has been saying one thing, but voting the complete opposite, and is committed to taking this seat back from the radical left.”

This hire ushers in a new era of the campaign with Senator Reeves’ team bringing on the most qualified campaign manager in the 7th Congressional District. It also signifies the growing momentum of the campaign, following the endorsements of the sheriffs in both Spotsylvania and Orange county.
